Lemlist Integration
In this guide, you'll learn how to connect Lemlist to MasterInbox using your API key, select which Lemlist users to sync, choose whether to sync their Email and/or LinkedIn conversations, and complete the integration.
Connecting Lemlist with MasterInbox allows you to:
Sync conversations from your Lemlist users into MasterInbox
Choose which team members to sync
Select exactly which email accounts to connect for each team member
Enable or disable LinkedIn syncing independently from email
Manage replies from one centralized inbox
Step 1: Generate Your Lemlist API Key
Before connecting, you'll need your Lemlist API key.
Log in to your Lemlist account.
Navigate to your account settings.
Generate or copy your API key.
Keep the API key ready for the next step.
Step 2: Add the Lemlist Integration in MasterInbox
Now connect your Lemlist account to MasterInbox.
Open MasterInbox.
Go to Settings.
Select Integrations.
Choose Lemlist.
Paste your Lemlist API key.
Click Continue.
Step 3: Select Team Members and Mailboxes
After your API key is validated, you'll see the list of users available in your connected Lemlist workspace.
Expand each team member to view their connected email accounts and LinkedIn profiles.
For each team member, you can choose:
Which email accounts should sync into MasterInbox
Whether LinkedIn conversations should be synced
This gives you precise control over which conversations are imported into your workspace.
Example
If John has five connected email accounts, you can choose to sync only two of them while leaving the remaining three private.
Step 4: Configure Sync Permissions
MasterInbox only syncs conversations from the email accounts and LinkedIn profiles you've selected.
Email Permissions
Choose exactly which email accounts should sync into MasterInbox for each team member.
Only conversations from selected email accounts will appear in your inbox.
LinkedIn Permissions
LinkedIn is managed separately from email.
You can enable or disable LinkedIn syncing for each team member independently, regardless of their email selections.
Step 5: Complete the Integration
Once you've selected your team members, configured mailbox permissions, and chosen whether to sync LinkedIn conversations, click Submit to complete the integration.
Managing Permissions
You can update mailbox and LinkedIn permissions at any time by editing the Lemlist integration.
Removing a Mailbox
If you remove an email account from the integration:
New messages from that mailbox will stop syncing immediately.
Existing conversations already synced into MasterInbox will remain available and are not deleted.
Adding a Mailbox
If you add a new email account later:
MasterInbox will automatically scan the newly permitted mailbox.
Eligible conversations from that mailbox will begin syncing automatically.
Enabling LinkedIn Later
If LinkedIn syncing is enabled after the initial setup, MasterInbox will automatically begin importing LinkedIn conversations for that team member.
Conversation Permissions
Only conversations from permitted email accounts and enabled LinkedIn profiles are imported into MasterInbox.
If an entire conversation belongs to an email account that has not been selected, it will not appear in MasterInbox.
Similarly, replies can only be sent from email accounts that are currently permitted in the integration.
Existing Integrations
Existing Lemlist integrations will continue working without interruption.
Your current setup will remain unchanged until you edit the integration and choose specific email accounts or update your LinkedIn permissions.
Once connected:
Your Lemlist account is connected to MasterInbox.
Selected team members begin syncing automatically.
You have full control over which email accounts sync for each team member.
LinkedIn syncing can be enabled or disabled independently for each team member.
Only permitted conversations are imported into MasterInbox.
Replies can only be sent from permitted email accounts.
Existing conversations remain available even if a mailbox is later removed.
Your Lemlist integration is now set-up and ready to use.
