Send Clay-qualified leads into Master Inbox and a Smartlead campaign

When a Clay row qualifies, Clay posts it to a Master Inbox incoming webhook. The lead is created with your Clay fields as custom variables, labeled Clay qualified and added to a Smartlead campaign.

Why teams run it

Clay research reaches the inbox and the reply agent, and the right campaign starts without a CSV.

Set it up in Master Inbox

  1. In Master Inbox, open Settings, then Workflows, and click Add a workflow.
  2. Name it Send Clay-qualified leads into Master Inbox and a Smartlead campaign.
  3. Set the trigger to Incoming Webhook and choose Clay posts each qualified row.
  4. Add the action Add labels: Clay qualified.
  5. Add the action Add to Smartlead campaign: The campaign for this segment.
  6. Save the workflow and switch it to Active.

Before you start, connect Smartlead under Settings, Integrations.

Sending data in from another tool

The Incoming Webhook trigger is set up in the app: Master Inbox gives the workflow its own URL, you send one sample payload from your tool, then map its keys to prospect fields. After that, your tool posts to that URL and the workflow runs. Everything else in the workflow is also in the API.
