Why trust this pricing guide?
This guide is written by the Master Inbox team and reviewed by our founder, Abdul Mukati. Every Hiver price and feature comes from Hiver's own pages, read on 28 October 2026, and each source is listed at the bottom. Master Inbox is one of the options we compare, so we only state what is published, we show the arithmetic, and we mark anything the page does not say. Hiver is a well-built product for the support work it was designed for. If you are weighing it against other tools, our list of seven Hiver alternatives and the Hiver alternative page cover the wider field.
Hiver pricing plans explained
Hiver describes itself as an agentic omnichannel customer service platform: email, live chat, Slack, voice, SMS and WhatsApp in one workspace, with shared inboxes, ticketing, automations and AI. It comes in two forms. Hiver Omni is a standalone platform that works with Gmail, Outlook and other email providers. Hiver in Gmail is a Chrome extension that works on top of Gmail or Google Workspace. Both pages show the same tier prices.
Each plan shows two prices behind an Annual and Monthly toggle. The lower price is the annual-billing price, and Annual is the default selection. Prices below were read from hiverhq.com/pricing on 28 October 2026.
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | What stands out |
|---|---|---|---|
The entry plan covers a shared inbox with ticketing, AI Agents, AI Copilot (summaries, compose and suggested responses), Skills, the AI Knowledge Builder, rule-based automations and pre-built analytics. Basic integrations such as Slack are included, and so is 24x7 support. Monthly billing is $35.
Pro: $55 per user per month, billed annually
Pro adds the Customer Portal, Slack channel management, SLAs, CSAT surveys and advanced analytics. It is also where premium integrations (for example Asana, Shopify and CRMs) and API access begin. Monthly billing is $65.
Elite: $85 per user per month, billed annually
Elite adds AI QA, AI Insights, Customer Intelligence, skill-based routing, custom objects, personal-to-shared-inbox rules, and SSO, HIPAA and custom roles. Monthly billing is $95.
A 7-day trial, no permanent free plan
No free plan is listed. Hiver's FAQ says sign-up gives instant access to the Elite plan for 7 days, with no credit card required. An account that is not upgraded by the end of the trial is suspended and can be reactivated by upgrading within 7 days.
Costs worth planning for
The headline price is per user, so the bill follows headcount. Hiver's FAQ says plans start at 2 seats, then 5, then grow in steps of 5 (10, 15, 20 and so on). The arithmetic below uses the published Pro price of $55 on annual billing. It is not a quote.
| Seats on Pro | Monthly, annual billing ($55) | Monthly, monthly billing ($65) |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | $275 | $325 |
| 10 | $550 | $650 |
| 25 | $1,375 | $1,625 |
| 50 | $2,750 | $3,250 |
Other costs on the page:
- Voice is a paid add-on at $30 per voice seat per month. It includes 1,000 minutes per voice seat per month, pooled across voice seats, and extra usage is charged at $0.03 per minute.
- Plan tier matters as much as seat count. Moving 10 users from Growth to Pro on annual billing takes the total from $250 to $550 a month.
- Nonprofits can ask for discounted pricing through a demo.
A worked example, labeled as arithmetic: a 10-person support team on Pro with annual billing pays 10 x $55 = $550 a month. Add 3 voice seats at $30 and the total is $550 + $90 = $640 a month, with 3,000 pooled voice minutes included.
The API has its own published limits. Hiver's developer documentation lists a rate limit of 1 request per second and 5,000 requests per day, and API access is listed from the Pro plan.
What is new in Hiver in 2026
Hiver's changelog shows steady shipping this autumn. On 30 September 2026 it introduced Hiver MCP, which connects shared inboxes to an AI assistant to find conversations and draft replies as shared drafts. The same day it added WhatsApp in Hiver Omni, Shifts for team working-hours planning, and automations that forward emails to external addresses. Its AI features were regrouped into AI Copilot, AI Agent, Skills and Insights. On 14 October 2026 it added a Spam view to Hiver Omni. The pricing page does not say when the three current tiers were introduced.
How Master Inbox pricing works
Master Inbox is the reply inbox for cold outbound: every email and LinkedIn reply from Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, HeyReach and more in one AI-labeled Unibox. It is not priced per seat. Plans scale with connected mailboxes and client workspaces, and every plan includes unlimited users, so adding a rep or a client manager does not change the bill. Full details are on the pricing page.
| Master Inbox plan | Price | Built for |
|---|---|---|
| Reply Agent | From $499 per month | Reply agents that answer, follow up and book meetings |
| Agency | $599 per month | Agencies, with up to 3,000 mailboxes and 15 client workspaces |
| Team | $799 per month | Sales teams, with up to 2,000 mailboxes |
| Scale | $1,297 per month | Larger agencies, with up to 40 client workspaces and 15,000 mailboxes |
| Unlimited | $1,697 per month | High-volume agencies, with up to 30,000 mailboxes and priority support |
Every plan starts with a free 7-day POC, and onboarding is done with you. Start your free 7-day POC to see your own replies in one queue.
How to choose between per-user and mailbox-based pricing
The two models answer different questions. Per-user pricing fits a team where each person works tickets all day and headcount is stable. Mailbox-based pricing fits outbound, where volume comes from the number of sending mailboxes and clients, while the number of people who touch a reply keeps changing: SDRs, account executives, client managers and the founder.
- If the question is "who needs a seat to answer customers", budget by headcount and by the plan tier that holds the features you need, such as SLAs on Pro.
- If the question is "how many mailboxes and clients do our campaigns reply into", budget by mailboxes and client workspaces, and let every teammate in.
- If both are true, run both. They connect to different parts of the stack. Our Front pricing guide walks through the same per-seat question for another help desk.
Who Hiver suits
Hiver suits customer support, customer success and other service teams that handle inbound requests on Gmail, Outlook or another email provider. Its own pages also cite inbound sales, finance and HR teams. It brings assignment, routing, tags, notes, shared drafts, collision detection, SLAs and CSAT into the inbox the team already uses, and it publishes GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, CCPA and HIPAA attestations. If you share a support@ address and want ticketing in Gmail, it is a strong choice.
Who Master Inbox suits
Master Inbox suits outbound sales teams and lead generation agencies that send from many mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts and need every reply in one queue. It threads forwards, CC replies and new-address replies that a sequencer's own inbox does not show, labels intent with AI, routes hot replies to Slack through workflows, and syncs to HubSpot and other CRMs. It works alongside the sequencer, CRM and support desk you already use. Plenty of teams keep a help desk for customers and use Master Inbox for outbound; the two do different jobs.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Hiver cost per month?
As of 28 October 2026, Hiver lists Growth at $25, Pro at $55 and Elite at $85 per user per month on annual billing. Monthly billing is $35, $65 and $95. Multiply by the number of users, then add Voice if you need it.
Does Hiver have a free plan?
No free plan is listed. Hiver offers a 7-day free trial with instant access to the Elite plan and no credit card required to sign up.
Is Hiver priced per seat?
Yes. Every Hiver plan is priced per user per month, and plans start at 2 seats. Master Inbox takes a different approach: plans are based on mailboxes and client workspaces, with unlimited users on every plan.
Does Hiver connect to LinkedIn?
The Hiver pricing, integrations, home and Slack pages read on 28 October 2026 did not list a LinkedIn integration. Master Inbox connects LinkedIn tools such as HeyReach, Expandi and Aimfox and shows those conversations next to email in one thread per prospect, through its LinkedIn Inbox.
Does Hiver have an API?
Yes. Hiver has a REST API with an admin-generated bearer-token key, and API access is listed from the Pro plan. Master Inbox includes a REST API with 150+ endpoints and webhooks for every event on every plan.

For working the replies cold outbound produces, yes: it is built for that. For a support desk with ticketing, SLAs and a customer portal in Gmail, keep Hiver. Many teams run both.
Which Hiver plan includes SLAs?
SLAs are listed from the Pro plan, alongside CSAT surveys, the Customer Portal and advanced analytics.
