Unified Inbox

A unified inbox is any tool that merges messages from multiple accounts, channels, or platforms into a single feed, letting a user read and respond without switching between separate apps. In outbound sales, it usually refers to merging email replies across sending domains, though it can also include LinkedIn and other channels.

Why it matters for outbound teams

The broader concept of a unified inbox spans customer support, personal email, and social media, not just cold outbound. For outbound teams specifically, the value is in reducing the number of places a rep has to look to catch a reply and act on it quickly. A unified inbox is the general term; unibox and master inbox describe purpose-built versions of it for outbound reply management.
